During the time I worked at Martha Stewart, when asked, she’d always say this was her favorite cookie. She even picked it to grace the cover of the book, Martha Stewart’s Cookies, which came out in 2008. I’d had them at office events, but had never actually made them. They’re the perfect holiday cookie–spicy and sparkly, with just enough chocolate to make them special. You’ve got to try these!
The online recipe varies slightly from the one in the book (the book calls for 1/2 cup molasses instead of 1/4 cup.)
